Last week I announced the decision to finally make my work public and so this is the 2nd post about the 3 EPs I’m releasing over the next few months…..
Space Born EP is the first in my self-titled collection The Hate Club I. This first catalog of THC is essentially breakup music aimed to help you getting over unnecessary people in your life. Sometimes, you have to entirely burn down to ashes to be reborn again. I did it and you can do it too…even though I almost went entirely psycho, I never betrayed what I stand for.
The Hate Club I was written over the course of one and a half years to this date. Unrequited love is the main subject of most of the songs, yet, it is also full of satire, self-destruction, obsession and bipolarity. As you watch yourself die you reconstruct and discover the new you.
It’s interesting to look back at what sparked the idea behind all the music that I have right now. If someone asked me if I had a choice: either not go through all the emotional shit I had to endure or not have the music it inspired, my answer would undeniably be, – “I’ll do it all over and over again if that’s what it takes for me to truly write about what I feel”. Depression gave me purpose, and showed other spectrums of perception otherwise hidden.
The Space Born EP is going to feature 4 songs:
- I Don’t Like You
- Hello, My Friend
Btw the excerpt used in the video above is from “Hello, My Friend”
This period in my life is full of exploration in art and personal ….. decadence…..In the next short episode I’ll share with you a few more details about the specific songs, art, things that I love and hate and my plans for the near and distant future.
